SMB Tiller LLC builds software that takes the technical complexity out of two things every small business deals with and almost none of them enjoy: advertising, and getting paid.
What we do
Commerce infrastructure, not an agency
We build an integration layer over the advertising and payments systems a small business already uses. On the advertising side that means retail media, search, and social and local — each with its own console and vocabulary — managed from one place. On the payments side it means choosing a provider sensibly and understanding what collecting money actually costs. The two are separate products, deliberately: joining them is an open-loop attribution problem we have not solved and do not claim to have.
Our route to market is through the people who already have the relationship — agencies, resellers and the software platforms these businesses run on — alongside selling directly. We are not a marketing agency, and we do not compete with our channel for the client relationship.
How we are built
Deliberately small, deliberately narrow
SMB Tiller is a small, self-directed team building toward a profitable niche business rather than a land grab. That shapes real product decisions: we integrate rather than rebuild, we take no underwriting risk, we hold no customer funds, and we would rather support a handful of integrations properly than list fifty.
- Not a lender. Consumer financing is originated by licensed providers who hold the credit risk.
- Not a money transmitter. Funds settle through a licensed processor of record, directly to the business.
- Not your agency’s replacement. Ad accounts stay in the client’s name and transfer with them.
Where we are
Early, and honest about it
We are building the integrations, applying for the platform access this depends on, and putting the first version in front of a small number of operators and channel partners. We would rather tell you that than demonstrate something that does not exist yet.
